The Manufacture of Activated Bleaching Earth involves following
steps.

Identification
of Mines
|
|
|
|
Elaborate and pains taking efforts are made to identify the
mine from which proper raw materials are obtained. Our R
& D people work around the clock to identify new and
better sources. That is one reason why we have
constantly improved our product.

|
|
Segregation
and Separation
|
| Any
mineral while being mined has a chance of being mixed with
over burden material in the mines. Effort is made to avoid that possibility. |
|
|
|
Transportation
|
|
|
|
Normally
rail and road transports are used.
|
|
|
Soaking
in Water
|
| The
Ore is soaked in agitated tanks called Mixing Tanks. It
gives slurry of ore in water called
Neutral slurry. |
|
|
|
Activation
|
|
|
|
The
Neutral Slurry is leached with Acid. Live steam is
used to provide initial energy
and agitation.
After proper working in huge wash tanks using a
combination of settling decantation, the whole mass is
filtered processes. This gives a
cake called Filtered Cake.

Calcination
|
|
The
filtered cake is calcined in a 80' long Rotary Kiln. The
fleu gases are in direct counter current mode. The resultant
mass is called Calcined Lumps.

Pulvarization
|
|
|
The
calcined lumps are screened to remove any foreign material.
Thereafter, it is pulverized in a roller mill. The roller mill is set in
such a way as to yield the exact particle size distribution.

Bagging
and Dispatch
The
product is finally bagged as per customer's specifications.
