At Vimal Organics, quality control is NOT
a "Testing the end product before dispatch".
Quality control at Vimal Organics is a continuous process -
like the circumference itself, the beginning and end of
quality system is at the same point - traversing through the
entire length and breadth of the organization.
In the quality system, there are standards for everything,
for every stage and every progression in manufacturing
process.
There are established standards for every raw material,
including but not restricted to, the water that goes into
the process/system. Every item is subjected to rigorous
tests before being admitted into the factory premises. And
then during the process, there are standards for every stage
of progression. Hourly samples are drawn and it is the
little member of the Quality Control team who call the shots.
The volume, the temperature, the acidity, the moisture are
but a few examples of various tests conducted by the team
regularly, continuously, every hour, at every stage, every
day - day in and day out.
There are no holidays at Vimal Organics. For Quality cannot
brook any leave. The material in the process is not allowed
to move forward, if it does not pass the prescribed tests.
Instructions are there to reverse it, reprocess it or if
need be to totally take out of system any unit/quality which does
not pass the prescribed test.
Quality Control at Vimal, thus, is a multi-dimensional
phenomenon - the inputs, the in - process -
progression at every stage and quality evaluation of the end
product.
At every stage the quality control department is required to
submit a NC report, even if there is no NC (NC =
Non-Conformity).
It is the commitment of the house of Vimal Organics - top to
bottom that ensures that no sample fails because we do not
manufacture samples - we manufacture bulk and draw samples
from the bulk.
